Mary Posted Zero Losses And +23% On Total Capital. Smaller Account. Discipline.
Ahoy there, Trader! ⚓️
It’s Phil…
This week the market chopped sideways like it had been told to do exactly that, and the SPX still managed to drag itself to a fresh ATH at 7,165 by Friday’s close. Michigan consumer sentiment finalised at 49.8, the lowest reading on record. The macro and the chart were once again doing different things and the community traded the chart.
Four milestones landed.
Mary posted her best week ever. Zero losses. Plus 23% on total capital. Smaller account, no premium poppers, just disciplined execution: “I’m usually the one losing when you’re all winning. Maybe I’m finally learning, Phil.” The 91% SPX win on Tuesday was the centrepiece. On Thursday she sat out the bull trades on instinct and was right.
Andy Daddario booked his best single day ever on Monday. Four winners. 87%, 92%, 89%, 94%. SPX bear plus RUT bull on a sideways day where the indices were going different directions and he read both correctly. The 4-Candles OG setup hadn’t been run in over a year. “Sometimes, just everything goes f’ing right, today was that day.”
Danna Gianforte completed her first full month with Alice live. 25 trades. 100% win rate. $11,335 P/L. $453 average win. “This is real money results post paper trading practice. Better results than my 401K ever did!”
And Chris Taylor’s “discipline win” deserves its own paragraph. First week running the Lazy Stacker, zero trades, zero P/L. He then ran the counterfactual on the Lazy Popper entries he would have taken otherwise: 2 full losses, 3 wins, net negative. The system kept him out of a losing week. My reply: “Now that’s a great result.”
That’s the work. The wins are loud. The discipline is quiet. Both belong on the Wall.
Mary +23%. Andy 4 Winners In One Day. Danna $11,335. Chris Zero Trades. Discipline Rewarded In A Whipsaw Week.

Stories Behind The Numbers
The Best Week Ever
Mary posted her best week ever in a week the rest of the community described as a whipsaw. Zero losses. +23% on total capital. Smaller account. No premium poppers. Just disciplined execution on the setups that fit the size.
The Tuesday SPX trade landed at 91% ROC. Mary’s note alongside it: “I didn’t trade yesterday, so it was a nice welcome back.” On Thursday she sat out the bull trades on instinct. “Something told me not to take the bull trades today. I’m doing great on SPX right now. Hopefully it will hold.” It held.
Mary’s own framing of the week is the one to read twice: “I’m usually the one losing when you’re all winning. Maybe I’m finally learning, Phil.”
The Best Single Day Ever
Andy D. stacked four winners on Monday. SPX bear 1st BO at 87%. SPX bear VWAP at 92%. RUT bull 1st BO at 89%. RUT bull OG 4 Candles at 94%. The OG 4 Candles setup is one he hadn’t run in over a year.
What makes the day remarkable is what made it difficult. SPX and RUT were going in opposite directions. Sideways market day. The signals were telling him to be short SPX and long RUT in the same session. Most traders would have picked one. Andy traded both.
“Sometimes, just everything goes f’ing right, today was that day. SPX and RUT were going different ways and definitely made it a challenge. VWAPs made the decision making for me (and some luck too). Best single day ever for me. (on a mostly sideways market day)”
By Thursday he was still pulling 90% winners across SPX and RUT. By Friday: “With Monday’s 4 wins, still well ahead for the week.”
The First Full Month
Danna G. completed her first full month with Alice live. The numbers do their own talking.
25 trades. 100% Trade Win %. $11,335 Total P/L. $453 average win.
Her note: “Cannot help but report my first full month with Alice win! What does Sean say ‘Learn this one skill and never have to worry about money again?’ This is real money results post paper trading practice… better results than my 401K ever did!”
Welcome to the Wall, Danna.
The Discipline Win
Chris T. took zero trades this week. Net P/L: $0.00.
That sentence on its own looks like a non-event. The story behind it is the entire point of the work.
Chris ran the Lazy Stacker for the first time this week. The Lazy Stacker said no trades all week. Choppy, flip-floppy price action did not satisfy the entry conditions. Tuesday he misunderstood one Lazy Stacker reversal and missed the setup. Otherwise the system kept him on the sidelines.
So Chris did the work that most traders skip. He ran the counterfactual on the Lazy Popper entries he would have taken if he’d been running his old setup instead.
“Looking back over the Lazy Popper entries I would’ve taken instead: 2 full losses, 3 wins would have been net negative for the week. Net for the week: $0.00. Let’s see what next week brings.”
The Lazy Stacker kept him out of a losing week. Phil’s reply landed it in one line: “Now that’s a great result.”
The Self-Control Win
John M. had a Friday moment that belongs framed on a wall somewhere.
He caught the RUT premium pop. Took profits before the trade gave them back. “Caught the RUT prem pop and for once wasn’t too greedy and took profits and thank goodness :)”
Then on the SPX 7120/7110 put spread he had an impulse to size up. The impulse lasted thirty seconds.
“Wanted to size up…. for about 30 seconds lol. Went back to normal size and worked out great. Enjoy the weekend :)”
That sentence is what experienced trading looks like. Not the trade. The thirty seconds.
The Tough Week
Michael S. had a week. He said so out loud.
“This was a really tough week for me on Poppers. Market was a bit of a whipsaw. Ended the day 1 for 3. Loss on RUT and SPX BO1 and a win on SPX BO3. Gotta regroup and get back on the saddle on Monday.”
Phil’s reply: “a very tricky week for sure – up one day down the next – no direction intraday. as soon as this breaks we will be back to sacking those winners.”
Michael ended the week 3 wins, 2 losses, banked Wednesday’s RUT and SPX, snagged Friday’s BO3. He posted the losses alongside the wins. The Wall is a scoreboard, not a highlight reel.
The Range-Bound Adapter
Robert W. read the conditions correctly on Wednesday. The market stayed range-bound off the 60ORB. The breakout he was set up for did not come.
So the structure changed. Iron Condor on the XSP. Closed for 78%.
When the breakout doesn’t show up, the trade that fits the conditions does. Not every trade has to be the same trade.

Transparency Corner
Michael SÂ posted the 1-for-3 Friday alongside the wins. “Loss on RUT and SPX BO1 and a win on SPX BO3.” Nothing hidden.
Richard HÂ reported the Monday SPX loss and the inability to get on the SPX bear in the same post as the RUT bull half-size win. The half-size sizing was its own discipline note.
James DÂ posted the Friday RUT LP win at 50% next to the SPX LP loss. “Rough day yesterday took a RUT LP win at 50% but a loss on the SPX LP.” Wins and losses on the same line.
Don EÂ flagged the Tuesday early RUT exit at break even when he couldn’t watch the trade. Not a win. Not a loss. Filed.
Chris TÂ posted a $0 week and showed the maths on what would have happened with the old system. The transparency is the win.
The community posts the reds and the breakevens alongside the greens. The scoreboard is honest.
The Takeaway
This was a whipsaw week. Phil framed it directly: “a very tricky week for sure – up one day down the next – no direction intraday.” And the Wall came back with four milestones.
Mary’s best week ever. Andy’s best single day ever. Danna’s first full month with Alice at 100% win rate. Chris’s zero-trade discipline win. The system did its job in four very different ways across four very different account sizes and four very different setups.
The other thread running through the week was self-control. John’s thirty-second size-up impulse that he resisted. Don’s break-even exit when he couldn’t watch the trade. Mary’s instinct to sit out Thursday’s bull trades. Robert’s switch from breakout to Iron Condor when the range stayed tight. Trade management decisions don’t show up on a P/L screenshot. They shape the scoreboard anyway.
The market hit a fresh ATH on Friday at 7,165. Michigan consumer sentiment finalised at 49.8, the lowest reading on record. Records above. Worst mood on record below. Same Friday.
The community traded the chart, ran the discipline, and posted a board with four milestones in a whipsaw week. That is what this work looks like.
Happy trading,
Phil
